MX SECURITY APPLIANCES

• Introducing MX250 and MX450: two new security appliances ideal for large branch, campus, and VPN concentration:
  • Designed for high-performance deployments, with stateful firewall throughput ranging from 4 to 6 Gbps
  • Flexible interface options, including 1GbE and 10GbE for copper and fiber applications
  • 10G WAN interfaces for high-speed uplink connectivity
  • Modular, field-replaceable power supplies and fans

• Introducing the Meraki Z3: a powerful addition to the Meraki Teleworker gateway family:
  • Includes a PoE port for VoIP phones and other powered end devices
  • 802.11ac Wave 2 Wireless
  • Higher throughput and support for 802.1x port authentication

• Expanding Meraki vMX100: available for Microsoft Azure, extending Meraki Auto-VPN and SD-WAN functionality to the public cloud

 

SYSTEMS MANAGER EMM

• Introducing “Do Not Disturb” – don’t push settings during Do Not Disturb
  • Point of Sale devices don’t receive app & profile updates during business hours
  • Students don’t receive app updates during class
  • Only push app or profile updates after hours

• Introducing Support for Apple TV – manage and configure Apple TV generation 2 and later
  • Out-of-the-box enrollment with DEP
  • Push settings including WiFi
  • Unified endpoint management of mobile, PCs, and Apple TV

• Cisco Security Connector for iOS: Expected Fall 2017 – beta available
  • Protection from malicious destinations
  • Encrypt internet (DNS) requests
  • Insight into activity during incident investigations
  • Works on corporate networks, public Wi-Fi, and cellular networks

 

MS SWITCHES

• Introducing MS120-8: the next generation model of the MS220-8
  • Expands the line to include non-PoE, PoE (67w), and full PoE (124w) models
• MS120 and MS210 24- and 48-port models are scheduled for Fall 2017 release
