Just a few weeks ago we released the Meraki dashboard app for mobile devices. We initially released it for iOS, noting Android support was in the works. We weren’t kidding: the Android version of the Meraki dashboard mobile app is now available from the Google Play store.

The Android version keeps the same spirit of the iOS app: it extends the Meraki dashboard experience, optimizing it for mobile devices and giving it a familiar look and feel. Just like the iOS version, it enables multi-site management of Meraki wireless networks through monitoring of wireless infrastructure, summarized information about network traffic and client devices, and faster WiFi deployments by allowing adding of new access points to a network right from the app. The app supports Android versions 4.1.1 and newer.
We’ve also added a few enhancements to the app, for Android and iOS versions, including the ability to sort access points by alert status, name, usage, and number of connected clients. We’ve already received hundreds of wishes via the app, and we love the feedback, so keep the wishes coming. Android users: your download awaits.
