Sanjit Biswas, CEO and Co-Founder

Sanjit Biswas is responsible for Meraki’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations. He is currently on leave from the Ph.D. program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he co-led the research project that won several academic awards and later became the foundation of Meraki’s wireless mesh technology. Sanjit holds a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford, and an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
John Bicket, Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder

John Bicket is responsible for the technical direction and development of Meraki. John was most recently a Ph.D. student in the Parallel and Distributed Operating Systems group at MIT, where he co-led the research project that later became Meraki. John holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University, and an S.M. degree in Computer Science from MIT.
Hans Robertson, VP of Product Management and Co-Founder

Hans Robertson is responsible for Meraki’s product and service definition and strategy. Hans most recently led a product management team at EMC that brought a new virtualization system to market. He was also an early member of the sales and business development team at VMware, where he created their first partner programs. Hans began his career as a business analyst at McKinsey & Co. and holds an S.B. and M.Eng in Computer Science from MIT.
Dan Atler, Chief Financial Officer

Dan Atler has over 20 years of financial experience, including leadership at both public and private companies. Prior to Meraki, Dan served as CFO at LitePoint, leading them to a successful acquisition by Teradyne Inc (NYSE:TER) for over $575M. Prior to joining LitePoint, Dan was the CFO of Amlogic, Inc., where he was instrumental in establishing their international tax structure. Before Amlogic, he held the executive positions of CFO, corporate development officer and interim CEO at Ikanos Communications, where he was instrumental in the company’s initial public offering, secondary offering, as well as several acquisitions. He joined Ikanos from Silicon Image, Inc., where he assisted the company with an initial public offering, several acquisitions, establishing its licensing business, and forming HDMI and DVI standards groups. At Silicon Image he held the positions of CFO and executive vice president of strategic business development. Prior to Silicon Image, Dan served as CFO for Wireless Access, Inc., corporate controller at Global Village, and was a CPA and senior manager at Ernst & Young. Dan received a degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and information systems from Colorado State University.
Ben Calderon, VP of Hardware and Operations

Ben Calderon brings over 15 years experience in operations and product development in the electronics industry. Ben came to Meraki from Apple Inc, where he managed OEM partners, notebook product launches, and iPod supply chains.
While at Applied Materials, Ben helped launch new semiconductor equipment products with customers such as AMD, Hynix, TSMC, UMC, and Micron. Ben holds a S.B. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, M.B.A. from Stanford, and a certificate from the Stanford Alliance for Innovative Manufacturing.
Andy McCall, VP of Sales

Andy is responsible for the key customer and partner relationships that help to fuel Meraki’s growth. Previous to Meraki, Andy spent six years at Nokia, the leading worldwide mobile phone manufacturer with US 70B in sales. At Nokia Andy was responsible for initiating, negotiating and maintaining relationships that supplied Nokia products and solutions to the North American enterprise and business-to-business retail market, generating over US 150M annually. Andy holds a BA degree from University of California, Irvine in Political Science, and both a Masters in Business Administration and a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University.
Kiren Sekar, VP of Marketing

Kiren leads worldwide corporate and product marketing efforts at Meraki. Prior to Meraki, Kiren has held leadership positions in a number of Silicon Valley startups. Kiren began his career as an engineer at Apple, where he was responsible for Bonjour, Apple’s networking and collaboration platform. Kiren holds numerous patents for networking protocols and collaboration systems. Kiren received his degree in computer science from Stanford University.
Todd Nightingale, VP of Strategy and Systems Architecture

Todd Nightingale has over 15 years of experience leading technology groups in networking and wireless. Prior to Meraki, Todd was General Manager for Motorola AirDefense Solutions, where he was responsible for technology, strategy, and day-to-day operations. Prior to AirDefense's successful acquisition by Motorola, Todd served as Vice President of Engineering, building their industry-leading wireless security solutions. Before joining AirDefense, Todd was Director of Engineering at Engim Inc, where he architected and implemented a multi-channel software based 802.11 MAC.
Todd received his S.B. and MEng. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and held a variety of research, development and teaching positions at MIT’s Laboratory for Computer Science and MIT’s Media Lab.
